The Goodwood Festival of Speed opens today with another outstanding display of cars from Ferrari.

The California T Handling Speciale, 488 GTB, 488 Spider and F12df were all taking part in the Michelin Supercar Run in which cars tackle the famed 1.6 mile hillclimb that features the notorious Molecomb Corner and the famous Flint Wall. The Ferrari range of road cars was also complemented by a very special “One Off” 458 MM Speciale from the Prancing Horse’s Special Projects division which works exclusively with a very select group of loyal Ferrari clients who are invited by the company to create a unique and very individual Ferrari to their own personal design.

Based on a 458 Speciale, but featuring completely handcrafted and unique aluminium bodywork, the 458 MM Speciale has been commissioned by a British client who has very generously allowed Ferrari to demonstrate the car at Goodwood this year’s Festival of Speed.

Corse Clienti. Joining them at this year’s Festival of Speed were also a full complement of XX Programmes cars from the Corse Clienti department, with a FXX EVO, 599XX EVO and FXX K on display in the Supercar Paddock and also setting pulses racing as they demonstrated their power and performance on the Goodwood Hill.

The three XX Programmes cars are being driven this weekend by Ferrari GT drivers, Sam Bird, James Calado and Davide Rigon, who are all fresh from competing in the Le Mans 24 Hours race at the Circuit du Sarthe in the 488 GTE in the GTE-Pro category. Alongside thesecars was a 488 GT3 which is eligible for client teams to race in several different GT categories in various international series such as Blancpain GT Series, International GT Open, British GT and many others. The Goodwood Festival of Speed continues until Sunday 26 June.
