The Infiniti QX30 premium active crossover received the prestigious award of Best SUV/Crossover from the Greater Atlanta Automotive Media Association (GAMMA) during the 2016 Atlanta International Auto Show. Members of GAAMA walked the floor of the Georgia World Congress Center to preview more than 400 new import and domestic cars, light trucks, vans, crossovers and sport utility vehicles on display at the 34th annual Atlanta International Auto Show.

The Infiniti QX30 is created for a new generation of premium buyers who appreciate category-defying design inside and out, the QX30 boasts a purposeful appearance that makes a bold visual statement as part of Infiniti’s premium model line-up. The QX30 line will be offered in three unique versions, each with its own front and rear fascia, wheel design and interior themes:

  • QX30: The crossover’s highly sculpted exterior, unique stance and asymmetric cabin design exemplify Infiniti’s design-led approach to product development.
  • QX30S: With a lower stance, aggressive front and rear fascia, cross-drilled front brake rotors, 19-inch wheels and performance tires, the QX30S is the sports version of Infiniti’s new premium compact line.
  • QX30 AWD: With an intelligent all-wheel drive system, slightly higher ride height and off-road inspired front and rear valence panels, the vehicle is able to take on urban, suburban and winding rural roads in all driving conditions.

The QX30 line for the U.S. is powered by a 208-horsepower, 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder mated to a 7-speed dual clutch automatic transmission.

The QX30 will hold a unique position, bridging the gap between premium compact rivals and larger crossover models. Its crossover-style versatility extends from unique design appeal and a wide range of comfort, convenience, safety and dynamic features, including intelligent all-wheel drive. Its elevated ride height and high-stability drivetrain will give confidence to drivers.

Infiniti’s trademark InTouch infotainment system, first introduced on the pioneering Q50, has been evolved and upgraded for the QX30 for a highly intuitive finger touch and swipe control through a seven-inch touch-screen HMI (human machine interface). Infiniti Voice Recognition interacts with the InTouch infotainment system to control audio and navigation commands.
