The 2016 Nissan Pathfinder has been named one of the “16 Best Family Cars of 2016” by Kelley Blue Book‘s KBB.com. It is the third straight year that Pathfinder has been included on the website’s annual evaluation and selection of vehicles that “best meet the needs of today’s modern families.”

Editors specifically commended Pathfinder for its available Around View® Monitor, no child seat hassle with EZ Flex Seating System™ with LATCH AND GLIDE™ system, as well as for “being pitch-perfect on the road.” The final selection of vehicles chosen for the honor – after an extensive two-week evaluation period – includes sedans, crossovers and SUVs.

“When we launched the totally redesigned Pathfinder in 2013 as a 3-row/7-passenger model, we knew it was an ideal vehicle for what we call everyday family adventures,” said Dan Mohnke, vice president, Nissan Chief Marketing Manager & Marketing Operations. “Now, as it enters its fourth year of production, Pathfinder continues to attract new fans, and awards, for just that reason.”

Enhancements to Pathfinder for the 2016 model year include a revised Almond interior with contrasting black and beige materials and a new Cold Weather Package with heated cloth front seats, heated steering wheel and heated outside rearview mirrors (available with Pathfinder SV grade). Pathfinder SL grade adds standard heated steering wheel (also standard on Pathfinder Platinum grade). Pricing for the 2016 Pathfinder, which is on sale now, starts at $29,830 USD*.
