Here we present the rating of the most expensive crossovers for 2015. 

A crossover, also known as a crossover utility vehicle (CUV), is a car built on a car platform and combining, in highly variable degrees, features of a sport utility vehicle (SUV) with features from a passenger vehicle, especially those of a station wagon or hatchback. Crossovers are typically designed for only light off-road capability, if any at all.

The Mercedes-Benz GLE-Class is a sport utility vehicle (SUV) built by the German car manufacturer Mercedes-Benz. The GLE-Class name will be used in 2015 for the forthcoming facelifted Mercedes-Benz M-Class (W166) and the new five-door coupé derivative GLE-Class Coupe (C292) which was unveiled to the public in January 2015 at the North American International Auto Show. As part of Mercedes-Benz’s new naming strategy, the GLE-Class will define the SUV’s positioning in the middle of its segment and between the future GLC and GLS-Classes (the former GLK and GL, respectively), the same way the E-Class is positioned in relation to the C and S-Classes.

The BMW X5 is a midsize luxury SUV (Sport Utility Vehicle) produced by BMW. The first generation of the X5, with the chassis code E53, made its debut in 1999. It was BMW’s first SUV (Sport Utility Vehicle), also known as “Four-by-Four” (4×4) in the UK, which featured 4WD all-wheel drive and was available with either manual or automatic transmission. In 2006 the second generation X5 was launched, known internally as the E70, featuring the torque-split capable xDrive all-wheel drive system mated to an automatic transmission, and in 2009 the X5 M performance variant was released as a 2010 model.

The Porsche Macan is a luxury compact crossover utility vehicle (CUV) manufactured by the German car manufacturer Porsche. The word Macan was taken from the Bahasa Indonesia meaning Tiger.

The BMW X6 is a mid-size luxury crossover by German automaker BMW. The first generation (E71) was released for sale in April 2008 for the 2009 model year The X6 was marketed as a Sports Activity Coupé (SAC) by BMW. It combines the attributes of an SUV (high ground clearance, all-wheel drive and all-weather ability, large wheels and tires) with the stance of a coupé (styling featuring a sloping roof). The second generation X6 (F16) was launched at the Paris Motor Show in 2014.

Production of the first generation Land Cruiser began in 1951 (90 units) as Toyota’s version of a Jeep-like vehicle. The Land Cruiser has been produced in convertible, hardtop, station wagon, and utility truck versions.

The Mercedes-Benz M-Class, renamed GLE-Class in 2015, is a mid-size luxury crossover sport utility vehicle (SUV) produced by the German automaker Mercedes-Benz since 1997.

The BMW X5 M is a high-performance derivative of the X5. It was introduced to the press at the New York Auto Show in April 2009, and started appearing in BMW dealerships in September 2009. It competes with cars such as the Mercedes-Benz ML63 AMG, and the Porsche Cayenne Turbo S. At the time of its launch, it was the world’s most powerful car in its class.

The BMW X6 M is the first vehicle from BMW M GmbH to have xDrive all-wheel-drive system and automatic transmissions, and are also crossovers as opposed to passenger cars. The X6 M was unveiled at the 2009 New York Auto Show and first went on sale in the 2010 model year.
