It reached the speed of 267.857 mph (431.074 km/h) in the official attempt for the Guinness World Records in 2010. Five years ago Hennessey Venom GT almost beat the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Super Sport World Record Edition. Now, the new edition of the same car named the Hennessey Venom F5 will try to beat the Bugatti Chiron. Hennessey Performance Engineering plans to build 30 units which will make the car eligible for the official record attempt.
